The current movie poster and marketing campaign surrounding the next Batman movie, The Dark Knight features now deceased Heath Ledger’s character the Joker. Personally I think this is a beautiful movie poster and should be used just on the basis of that. But also, this will be the last movie that Ledger will be featured in, so keeping the original poster would be a rather nice tribute to the talented actor. Sure I can see why they would want to change it: so as not to seem as they are using his death as a marketing strategy. But really…I think it would be a really nice tribute in a way. I found the poster, isn’t it brilliant?! Personally I can’t wait to see this film and see why Ledger wasn’t able to sleep at night…
